Molecular Sequence Analysis

Up one level
A variety of software is available for analyzing molecular sequences. This includes alignment of sequences and construction of phylogenetic trees.
Jemboss/ EMBOSS
The software automatically copes with data in a variety of formats and even allows transparent retrieval of sequence data from the web.
ClustalX
It is an X windows interface for the ClustalW multiple sequence alignment program.
ClustalW
It is a general purpose program that identifies alignments within multiple DNA or protein sequences.
BEAST
BEAST is a cross-platform program for Bayesian MCMC analysis of molecular sequences. It is entirely orientated towards rooted, time-measured phylogenies inferred using strict or relaxed molecular clock models.
